Peter Dutton's consigliere?
A perfectly civil phone call from a senior public official to an Australian senator or a veiled message from the Godfather of Home Affairs?

To answer my own question - he's been a naughty boy and has been scolded by the PM and Min for Home Affairs. Let that be a lesson to him!

It was a perfectly civil phone call from a senior public official to an Australian Senator. Shy

Civil but inappropriate.
Public servants do not reprimand elected parliamentarians, even in the most civil terms.
It is for the politicians to slug it out when the House and Senate come together.

By the way, when will this happen? Any time soon?
