Les Norton
Anyone read those Les Norton books? Just saw a promo for a TV show based on them.
David Wenham's in it but looks to be hamming it up. Bad sign.

It may be very good, or very bad, depending how close they keep to the books. Somehow i fear that it won't be close enough.

The books were a hoot, but a tad brutal for Aunty i think.

RE: Les Norton
I watched it, not as good as the books but not bad.

I'm betting Rebel W. isn't at the bottom of the hole, sure there was part of the promos that didn't air tonight so ....

(can't remember the plot of the book, it was a long time ago)

RE: Les Norton
Speaking of Les Norton, did anyone watch/is watching No Offence?

We've just finished watching the final episode and - IMNSHO - it is the best British drama we have seen. Quirky.

Oh yes, wouldn't miss it! 2nd season almost as good as the first.

I haven't jumped ahead, I'll wait for the last ep. thursday I think? I'll look out for it anyway.

Agree Max ..... many series start below expectations then there is the need to get your head around the characters.

RE: Les Norton
The lead is nothing like the character as I saw him from the books but then they never are in movies.
